This doesn’t have anything to do with the expansion I mentioned in my last post, but I did get up to my elbows in tulle and glittery stuff this past week!
I made a birthday outfit for the daughter of a twitter friend, which turned out to be incredibly fun! This included a rainbow tutu, bloomers with tulle ruffles, a birthday t-shirt, and a headband. This likely won’t be something I do regularly (except for making tutus, that was so much fun!!) but I enjoyed doing it just the same!
I am just not a natural blogger. Life gets in the way quite often! Typically in the way of an adorable *almost* three year old so I certainly can’t complain!
Anyhow, I have been working on a number of cool new things and ideas, including a toddler romper with ruffles, a gorgeous and simple woman’s pinafore dress, and potentially a new line (of delicates! Stay tuned…)!
Hello friends. Been awhile, I know. After taking so stinkin’ long to finish the big lot of aprons I made for a website (details coming soon!!) I became totally overwhelmed with holidays and life, finding little time to set out for sewing.
But I’m back now! And with a newly listed set of retro style bloomers/diaper covers. These turned out so cute! This particular set includes six (6) bloomers for just $30, which is essentially like getting one for free. The size is 18-24 months, but the legs and waist are elastic so cute little booties will definitely get a lot of wear from these.
Please visit my Etsy Shop to check them out, and see what else I have to offer as well!
Happy New Year! xo!
Remember a little while back about adding bloomers to the as sets of 4-6? Well they’re here! I can take size orders if you see something you like (0-12mos & 12-24mos)! I will be offering the follow fabric sets in my shop for $25-35 depending on the number of bloomers in the set.
I’m very excited about these, they’re so much fun to make! I’m also taking custom holiday orders, let me know if you’re interested!
So I recently finished a custom order of 5 pairs of bloomers, which became a pretty cute project. I typically charge $7 for bloomers, but decided for this order I would offer a discount based on the number of bloomers she wanted. 5 for $25. If there was some interest in bulk orders like that I might feature it regularly?! Look at the cuteness and send me some feedback!
My kid is turning 2. On Tuesday. Have I mentioned this? Because I’m pretty much in denial. We had her birthday party this past Saturday, and while planning it took some time from sewing, I also wanted to make her party dress this year. It turned out beautifully! I am exceptionally proud of this one, not to mention it seemed to suit her perfectly!
So here it is, the dress that’s kept me busy all week! I feel like this is just a busy time of year for everybody. I just relisted a few things in my shop so please check those out. I will be doing an update soon, adding some summery items!
Actually, springing forward sucks. I’m exhausted! SO. Here is a photo post of what I’ve been up to lately! Enjoy!
